DAYANG
THE CHINESE ELECTRIC JIMNY
It's been a while since the new generation of the Suzuki Jimny debuted. The Japanese SUV's small all-terrain was completely renovated, retaining its image without much change, but with some exterior and interior enhancements that managed to upgrade this iconic Asian all-terrain.However, in China, the previous generation of Jimny is kept alive thanks to Dayang. This Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has developed a series of purely electric vehicles, among which is the Chok-G, a model that is offered in two different versions called Chok-G1 and Chok-G2.
The Chok-G is equipped with an electric motor of 6 KW, that is, only a little more than 8 hp of power, with which it is able to reach a top speed of 50 km / h. The propellant combines with batteries that allow a range of 100 kilometers with a full charge.
The Dayang Motorcycle has done a very precise job to copy the Japanese model, since the Chok-G is very similar to the Suzuki Jimny.
In the front the grille, the bumper and the headlights are almost equal, while on the sides the format is almost identical to the Suzuki product, with similarly shaped wheel arches and a rear window of the same format as the model Japanese. The rear also looks like Jimny, thanks to the flashlights and the bumper. Only missing the steppe oneu on the back cover to be able to imitate the Japanese all-terrain completely.
Inside the Chinese manufacturer has opted for its own design, which includes digital instrumentation and a shift lever located between the central outputs of the air conditioner.
The Chok-G1 and Chok-G2 are already on sale in China with prices starting at 44,800 yuan, about 24,700 reais at the current exchange rate. In addition, this Chinese clone is offered in certain markets in Latin America, such as Ecuador and Colombia.
