BRAND PREMIUM WAGON IS PRESENTED AT CARAVAN SALON
Volkswagen presented at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Germany, its new camping van called Grand California. Based on the Volkswagen Crafter, this new vehicle is the latest Camper of the German brand, and features interesting news, such as a bathroom with shower, toilet and a removable washbasin.Among the standard equipment of the VW Grand California is the double bed on top, windows with curtains and anti-mosquito netting, exterior lighting, an electric step for easy access to the passenger compartment and a connection in the rear for an outside shower with water temperature regulator.


On top of that, there's even a set of speakers on the back that allows Bluetooth connectivity so you can play music through your smartphone, tablet or PC. All so you do not have to be held hostage by the cabin multimedia system.The kitchen is another of the great assets of this proposal, since it has a removable part - 70 liters capacity - that accommodates a refrigerator, two gas nozzles, a washbasin and several cabinets to store food and utensils. To this area there is also an interior table with capacity for four people.



The water tank of this vehicle has a capacity of 110 liters and the heating of the water runs on gas. However, there is an option that allows this entire system to run in parallel with a diesel generator.Many options are available. The children's bed has a panoramic roof, a ceiling-mounted air conditioner, an awning, a back support for bicycles, a solar panel on the ceiling, a TV satellite dish and a router with LTE / Wi- Fi.



Volkswagen has not yet confirmed the powertrain that will be available in this proposal, but certainly the engines chosen will be combined with Wolfsburg's brand-new 4Motion all-wheel drive system, as well as the latest driver assistance and safety systems.
