LAMBORGHINI

THE NEW BRAND MAKES HISTORY IN THE EUROPEAN CIRCUIT LEGEND

Only shortly after all the alarms sounded thanks to a previous leak, the Italian brand confirmed through an official statement that the new Lamborghini Aventador SVJ became the fastest series production model to take a ride on the legendary Nürburgring .The time confirmed by Lamborghini for the new Aventador SVJ is slightly slower (only 2 cents) than the brand had said at first. The official time, timed and certified by GPS with a VBOX-Racelogic device, was 06: 44.97, achieved by the Italian pilot Marco Mapelli in the 20.6-km course.Mapelli's time with the Aventador SVJ improves the 06: 45.90 achieved by the NextEV Nio EP9 in 2017 and the 06: 47.30 of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, also obtained in 2017, which for now remains the fastest rear-wheel drive vehicle in the Nürburgring , since the model of the Lamborghini is of total traction.

Now the Italian model will crown the official times table of the German track, although it has not been officially confirmed for the time being. The brand did not confirm the date on which it got the fast return, but it is evident that it was during one of the days in which the model was seen being tested with a special orange camouflage that also appears in the official images revealed by the mark along as communication of press. In addition, this is the brand's first official communication about the model, with the exception of a few video teasers released on the company's social networks, so far the company had not revealed any details of the new SVJ. We now have the first official SVJ data, which was included in this release.

According to the press release, the new Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will be presented next August during the Monterey Automobile Week events, in addition, the brand has confirmed that the model will have a weight-to-power ratio of 1.98 kilograms per hp .
Other details of the model confirmed were the new chassis adjustments, with improvements over the suspension and steering system of the previous SuperVeloce Aventador. According to the brand, the tires will be the Pirelli P Zero Corsa specially developed for the Aventador SVJ, although on the Nürburgring they used the Pirelli P Zero Trophy R, which will be optional.
The latest leaked data suggests a power of 770 hp, 20 hp more than the Aventador SuperVeloce it replaces, but for now the brand has not confirmed that number or its performance.
