MARK DISCLOSES EQA ELECTRIC VIDEO IN ACTION

Mercedes-Benz has released a video highlighting the EQA, a 100% electric prototype that will be the basis for the second model of the future EQ line, made up exclusively of vehicles equipped with electric propulsion systems.

The video shows the Mercedes-Benz EQA circulating on the roads of Sicily. The prototype was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2017 and the series production model is planned for 2020. Assuming dimensions similar to those of the A Class, it will be the second model of the EQ electric line. A year earlier, in 2019, the Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ will be launched, an electric SUV inspired by the GLC which, according to the German manufacturer, will be equipped with a 70 kWh battery that will allow to run about 500 kilometers on a single charge.According to the provisional specifications announced by Mercedes-Benz, the series production EQA will be equipped with two electric motors that will deliver a combined power of more than 270 hp. Equipped with an all-wheel drive system, the electric model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 5 seconds. The 60 kWh battery will allow a range of up to 400 kilometers according to the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) test cycle. The German manufacturer will offer fast loading solutions through which it will be possible to get 100 kilometers of autonomy in just 10 minutes.
