THE THIRD GENERATION OF RENAULT KANGOO IS ALREADY READY
The arrival of the new generation of the Renault Kangoo is already quite close, in fact, new information from the French press indicates that it will be revealed in October and its arrival to the dealers of the main European markets will happen in the beginning of 2019.According to the French of L'Argus, the current generation of Kangoo will no longer be produced in July, and the start of production of the new model will begin in January 2019, so the presentation of Renault Kangoo 3 will be during the last quarter of the year.The most logical date for its debut marked by the French publication is the Salon de Paris 2018, which opens its doors between 4 and October 14 of that same year.This new generation of the Renault van will be based on the CMF / C-D platform, an architecture already used in larger models of the French brand, such as Espace and Scénic. Therefore, we can expect a qualitative leap important in terms of chassis and of course technology.The new Renault Kangoo 3 will have to face the newly revamped Citroën Berlingo and Peugeot Rifter, so it should emerge with a considerable evolution in terms of the model's image. The upfront of Kangoo's new design can be seen in the Renault Frendzy prototype, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011. This concept was based on Kangoo Z.E. EV and had dimensions very similar to those of the van. In aesthetic terms we can expect a rear with slightly more square and practical shapes.Regarding the mechanical part and always according to L'Argus, under the hood will be the new engines 1.3 TCe to gasoline and 1.5 dCi diesel. On the line there will be EDC manual and automatic transmissions of double clutch, and later we will have a pure electric version, as in the current line, but there will also be semi-hybrid mechanical versions.
