With new look and vocation for heavy work, package adds to the already known versions Trend and PrimeThe Constellation family begins the year with a new feature in dealerships all over Brazil: the debut of the Robust package, which gives new faces to the models and expands their vocation for heavy work at the best cost of acquisition.On sale, the Robust package adds to the well-known Trend and Prime lines. Available for the Constellation Extended Cabin version brings the robustness needed for anyone who needs a truck with durability and low investment cost.Thanks to the new design of the bumper, short and metallic, the Constellation Robust models will have a greater angle of entry, which expands their vocation to face the most difficult terrains.The Robust package is available for the Constellation Line, from the medium to heavy segment, encompassing models 13,190, 15,190, 17,190, 17,230 and 23,230.



The Vocational family will also have the Robust version in the Compactor, Distributor and Constructor Constellation lines 17,260, 24,260 and 26,260, in addition to versions 190 and 230 hp."The new package multiplies the already numerous options of Volkswagen vocational trucks, with vehicles tailored for the most diverse applications and robustness devoted to heavy work," says Andria Cristina Giusti, MAN Latin America Product Marketing Engineer.


Success for more than a decade
With more than 211 thousand units produced since its launch, the Constellation family is a success in Brazil. One of its models is not the third best-selling truck in the country: with 2,097 licenses in 2017, the VW Constellation 24,280 was behind only the smaller brothers, VW Delivery 8.160 and VW Delivery 10,160, first and second place in the ranking sales, with 2,407 and 2,137 respectively.
Among the light heavyweights the VW Constellation 24.280 reigned absolute. Indicated for medium and long distance road services, it has a MAN D08 engine of 277 hp and 1,050 Nm of torque, it does not require the use of the Arla 32 and is even more advantageous for this operating profile, besides facilitating the Implementation.
For eleven consecutive years MAN Latin America / VW Trucks and Buses has the best selling truck in Brazil.
