BUICK ENVISION MAKES YOU RE-REPORT
After its upgrade in China, the launch of Buick Envision finally reached its main market, the United States. The expected facelift of the SUV of the Buick is already a reality and in a matter of a few months will begin its commercialization in North America. Although the novelties may be described as 'minor', the truth is that all the changes introduced help the American model to offer a modern and stylized image. Everything focuses on the aesthetic and technological part. The new Buick Envision now has a more sculpted image thanks to the new bumper and a front grille that has been revised. The American SUV has a greater presence and denotes a stronger character. To this must be added new 19-inch alloy wheels and HID headlamps which come standard with all versions associated with the 2.5-liter engine, while 2.0 Turbo models have LED headlights.
All versions now debut the new light signature LED in the Buick. Another of the news that directly affects the technological equipment of Envision has to do with the infotainment system that uses a touch screen 8.0 inches. It is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, offers a 4G-LTE access point and has a limited time subscription to GM's OnStar services. There is nothing new about the mechanical part. The offer continues to be made up of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 200 hp associated with a six-speed automatic transmission. This engine is available in front and full wheel configuration. And a step up is the 2.0-liter Turbo engine with 256 hp combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The commercialization of the new Buvision Envision will begin in the United States next spring. A total of four trim levels will be available and the basic version will start at $ 34,495.
Sam Russell, Buick's Director of Marketing, highlighted the importance Buick Envision has to the company in the future: "Envision offers a great growth opportunity for the Buick brand. With the new pricing strategy, we put the Buick Envision at the heart of its segment and positioning itself better in relation to Encore. "
