LEÓN CRISTOBAL CONCEPT: THE SAFER CAR OF BRAND HISTORY

Smart City Expo World Congress was the chosen venue for the presentation of the SEAT León Cristobal Concept, a prototype that was the star of the SEAT booth at this international fair for smart cities that took place in Barcelona this week.According to the Martorell brand, the SEAT León Cristobal, named after the patron saint of drivers, stands out for the numerous safety systems it manages, thanks to which it stands as the vehicle of the most secure Spanish company in its history. And this is due to the fact that it has up to six new security assistants and 19 different functions that, according to the brand, can reduce traffic accidents by 40% if half the vehicles incorporate them.The safest car in the history of SEAT has devices such as a breathalyzer, which limits the start of the vehicle in case the positive test of alcohol made by the driver. Another specific feature of this prototype is the black box, similar to that of airplanes, which by means of a camera, in case of accident records the last seconds, and can send them to a pre-selected phone.

Another unique feature of the León Cristobal Concept is its 'magic' rearview mirror, an element in which the classic mirror is transformed into a screen by a simple click, thus eliminating dead angles. The 'Eyes Track' system, another of the functions, detects whether the driver has diverted attention from the road and is able to reduce distractions, for example by reading the messages that arrive on the driver's phone.
The Guardian Angel monitors parameters such as safety distance, speed in relation to the limit of the road and symptoms of driver fatigue, acting in case of risk. The most secure SEAT last assistant of all time was designed to prevent users from forgetting in the car other passengers, children and animals.
