Who put on paper the ideas of a more efficient public transportThe mining town of Sete Lagoas received the second edition of the Iveco Bus Experience earlier this month. The initiative, promoted by the automaker, aimed to discuss and find solutions that provide more inclusive and modern passenger transportation. During the meeting, students of the Design course of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) 'designed' vehicles that optimize or create solutions for access to passengers, including people with reduced mobility.Gustavo Serizawa, Iveco Bus Product Marketing Manager, points out that UFMG students are ahead of the Next Stop 2030 project - the Future has already begun. "This action broadens the debates on the development of vehicles that provide well-being to users, such as the elderly and people with mobility difficulties," he adds.At the end of the event a time capsule was deposited at the Iveco Industrial Complex in Sete Lagoas (MG), with sketches and suggestions on how the buses will evolve. In 2030 the material will be removed. The Iveco Bus portfolio has models that privilege inclusion and accessibility, such as the Daily Elevittá, GranClass, SoulClass and the concept vehicle, the Daily Life, a product that innovates by extending inclusion to the transport professional and ushering in a new era in the segment.
