MARK ADVANTAGE A NEW DESIGN LANGUAGE
Subaru arrived at the Salon of Tokyo 2017 loaded with news. Among them, in addition to a series of limited editions exclusive to the Japanese market, the brand has revealed an important concept car with which advances the next generation of its design language. This is the new Subaru VIZIV Performance Concept. Its acronym stands for 'Vision for Innovation'.As pointed out, VIZIV Performance Concept offers a future vision of its 'Dynamic and Solid' design code. The next design philosophy that Subaru will use in all its models will convey driving pleasure and ruggedness. Aesthetically, this concept car seems to have been a mix of some of the most iconic Japanese brand models.

It is undeniable that the Subaru VIZIV Performance Concept has a certain relationship with the Legacy, Impreza and WRX STI. The designers of the Japanese brand reaped the most iconic features of each of them to get a sedan of marked sporting character in which stands its imposing front. Also outstanding are its wheel arches and lateral ribs. In addition, the headlights add an extra touch of aggression.

If we take a look at the rear, the U-shaped flashlights are a clear allusion to its engine of opposing cylinders. Subaru has also used lightweight and advanced materials such as carbon fiber in both fenders, roof and both bumper. With this, it was possible to reduce the weight in a remarkable way. Other very striking elements are the huge diffuser and the four exhaust ports.In relation to the interior, little to emphasize, since Subaru did not reveal images or details about it. Despite this, the most relevant of this concept car is its exterior design and it also anticipates new additional functions in which the company is working. Some functions related to standalone driving technologies will be integrated in the next few years into the EyeSight Preventive Security Systems package.
