Porsche will have to pay compensation to Paul Walker's daughter for an accident that killed the actor

The long and painful lawsuit against Porsche by Meadow Walker, daughter of the late actor Paul Walker, has come to an end. The Fast and Furious franchise star died in the passenger seat of a Carrera GT model, while Roger Rodas, his best friend, drove. The two were charred. The agreement, signed Oct. 16 (according to documents received exclusively by EW!), Also resolves the lawsuit filed by Paul Walker III, the actor's father. The lawsuit had been held since 2015 because, according to his family, Walker would still be alive if the company had installed adequate safety equipment in the vehicle.Meadow argued that while the German brand was fully aware that the Carrera GT had a history of instability and control problems, they did not install the electronic stability control system. The lack of the item, designed specifically to control deviations similar to that of the accident, would have been the main cause of death. The amounts to be received by the couple and the family were not disclosed. Paul Walker died in Santa Clarita, California on November 30, 2013.
