The visor system and the visor itself are one of the main changes to the Tour-X5. The VAS-A visor system, derived from the VAS-V system developed for the RX-7V, is designed to maximize impact dispersion performance, meaning a larger surface area to absorb impact energy, as well as offering easy installation and removal of the visor and peak. The visor itself is designed for greater visibility and impact dispersion performance, and being a Max Vision visor, a Pinlock lens can be easily installed. The VAS-A visor system also makes it easy to switch to other styles without the need for tools. Choose from Adventure, Off-road and On-road styles wherever you go.

Designed for those who experience motorcycling both on asphalt and dirt, the new model from the Japanese manufacturer improves upon the successful Tour-X4 formula with greater lightness, comfort, and aerodynamics, without compromising the brand's legendary safety.

Made of Super Fiber PB-CLC2, a material 30% stronger than conventional fiberglass, the Tour-X5 meets ECE 22.06 homologation and guarantees maximum impact absorption thanks to its multi-density EPS monobloc structure.

The Tour-X5 is synonymous with total versatility. Its design allows it to be easily configured as a full-face, off-road, or adventure helmet, simply by removing the visor, the screen, or both. This adaptability makes it the ideal companion for any type of trip, from long journeys on paved roads to getaways on dirt roads.

State-of-the-art aerodynamics and ventilation...The new visor design, sculpted by the wind, improves ventilation and reduces the dreaded "sail effect" at high speeds. Its more aerodynamic shape channels air more efficiently, increases sun protection, and offers greater impact resistance.

In addition, the Tour-X5 debuts a completely redesigned ventilation system. The front air intake is integrated under the brand logo, using a new internal duct that maximizes airflow without compromising safety. Three Venturi extractors and an AR rear spoiler complete the system, reducing fatigue and heat buildup on long journeys.

Expanded vision, maximum protection...The new MAX-Vision visor expands the field of vision and improves impact resistance. It includes a standard Pinlock Series 120 XLT lens, which prevents fogging even in extreme conditions. The innovative VAS-A system, derived from the VAS-V of the RX-7V, allows for tool-free visor removal, facilitating cleaning and maintenance.

Hygienic and customizable interior...The interior of the Tour-X5 was designed for maximum comfort. Its lining is hygienic, antibacterial and hypoallergenic, with removable cheek pads for a precise fit. The speaker mounting areas have also been enlarged, and the new nose deflector allows for comfortable use of glasses. The inner fabric maintains the same pH as human skin, reducing irritation and odors even on long trips.

The Arai Tour-X5 helmet weighs only 1,700 grams (+/- 50 g) and is available in sizes XS to XL. It is offered in 26 colors, with prices starting at €899.95 for solid colors and reaching €999.95 for versions with more elaborate graphics. Includes carrying case and five-year warranty.
