Land Cruiser FJ
Toyota has officially unveiled the new Land Cruiser FJ tonight, with the announcement that its market launch will follow in the middle of next year.

Also notable are the angular fender flares, the massive rear pillar, and the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.
Toyota also says that the car will come with removable front and rear corner bumpers, allowing owners to easily replace damaged parts.
The company has also promised a range of options, including “robust exterior and functional elements” (such as an ARB platform mounted on the roof).

The cockpit layout allows for instant recognition and control in a wide range of driving conditions, with a horizontal instrument panel, monitor and switches that unify functions to minimize eye movement, and a gear lever that allows for natural operation, all with the aim of creating an interior in which users can experience the joy of mobility.

Toyota Safety Sense, a suite of active safety features with advanced features, including a collision avoidance system, supports worry-free driving enjoyment.

The statement said the vehicle achieves outstanding off-road performance worthy of a Land Cruiser thanks to wheel articulation (the ability of the tire to stay on the ground) equivalent to the 70 Series.
A shorter wheelbase (270 mm shorter than the 250 Series) ensures excellent maneuverability with a minimum turning radius of 5.5 m and off-road mobility, giving the Land Cruiser new appeal.
During development, extensive field testing identified areas for improvement to ensure true Land Cruiser reliability, durability and off-road performance.
