Nissan Z Heritage Edition
Paying homage to the fourth generation of the Nissan Z sports car, the 2026 Nissan Z also introduces a new Heritage Edition with visual enhancements that evoke the 1990s.
The new model was unveiled at the 38th annual ZCON, the Z Car Club’s International Z Car Convention, which welcomes hundreds of Z enthusiasts each year.
The Heritage Edition package is offered exclusively on the 2026 Nissan Z Performance model for $2,940, bringing the total suggested retail price of the Nissan Z Performance model with the Heritage Edition package to $55,910.
The Nissan 300ZX – known to enthusiasts as the Z32 – was introduced in 1989, two decades after the first Nissan Z sports car. Its low, wide proportions and extremely short overhangs hinted at its exciting performance potential, which included an available twin-turbo V6 engine. The 2026 Z Heritage Edition recreates the iconic model with bronze 19-inch REYS wheels, a carbon fiber rear spoiler with a retro-styled “Twin Turbo” badging, and bronze “Twin Turbo” graphics on the body sides.

The rear of the Z is clearly influenced by the Z32, including the elongated oval shapes of the taillights and the darkened center section. The elongated oval shapes inspired by the Z32 are also seen on the front grille of the modern Z.
The car's overall dashboard layout - simple, functional, horizontal - is similarly inspired by the purposeful look of the original Z.
The 2026 Nissan Z Sport features a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 400 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 475 Nm of torque. The engine can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

Inside, designers have incorporated three gauges atop the instrument cluster, a design cue seen on many earlier Z sports cars.Interior enhancements include unique door sill plates and exclusive floor mats. The finishing touch is Midnight Purple, one of the most beloved shades on Nissan’s performance cars since the iconic GT-R.
Standard features include a fully digital gauge display, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, intelligent cruise control, a Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button ignition, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and 18-inch wheels with Yokohama ADVAN Sport tires.
The upgrade to the 2026 Nissan Z Performance adds the capability and excitement of a mechanical limited-slip differential, 19-inch RAYS lightweight forged aluminum wheels shod with Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, and Nissan Performance brakes. Additional features include an eight-speaker Bose audio system, a 9-inch touchscreen with navigation, NissanConnect Services with Wi-Fi hotspot, heated side mirrors, aluminum sport pedals, and heated, leather-wrapped power seats.

The 2026 Nissan Z NISMO features precision engineering that delights drivers on and off the track. Its engine output increases to 420 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque, along with a faster transmission. NISMO-tuned suspension and brakes, revised aerodynamic bodywork, and wider wheels with more aggressive tire compounds deliver safer, more capable performance. Interior enhancements include red buttons for engine start and drive mode, manually adjustable Recaro seats, and a leather and Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a red marker at the 12 o'clock position.
