Tesla Cybertruck for campers

Hotomobil, a Turkish manufacturer, has made a rework of Tesla’s Cybertruck and called it Cyberglad. Cyberglad is claimed to be a production solution for a camper based on the Cybertruck.

Owners can remove the module whenever the pickup is needed for work. However, with its bulky and tall silhouette, the camper will certainly affect the Cybertruck’s range, which will be an obstacle for long-distance travel, according to Autonews.

The shell of the large box is covered with an ultra-lightweight composite that the company claims is antibacterial, waterproof and fireproof. Every external surface has been treated to match the Cybertruck’s silhouette, resulting in an alleged reduction in air resistance compared to boxy built-in bodies. Twenty millimeters of high-density polyurethane foam is sandwiched between the inner and outer skins, allowing the cabin to maintain a comfortable temperature whether the truck is stationed in the desert heat or in sub-zero mountain passes.

According to Hotomobil, fresh water and grey water tanks are built in, an onboard battery system comes standard, and solar panels are available as an option. Hopefully, we’ll get more specifics in the near future.

For now, we tip our hats to the European Hotomobil team for unveiling a new camper in a bold new way. We have never seen a truck camper manufacturer think so far outside the box when launching a new model.

Maybe it’s time to look beyond Elkhart and Overland Expo and try Burning Man, South by Southwest, and Sturgis. We would bet you a crypto coin of your choosing that these events would reach new people far, far outside the normal truck camper circles.

Specifications list a total system weight of 417 to 594 kg and the ability to accommodate two people (the bed is adapted for them). The company says it already has sales agents in Spain, Sweden, Canada and the United States.

The price of the upgrade starts at $66,600, and it can be paid for in cash or cryptocurrencies.
