APRILIA

Aprilia RSX4 X GP, the MotoGP production motorcycle

The Aprilia RSX4 X GP 2026, whose technical specifications can be found at this link, is the fifth version of a series of truly exclusive motorcycles that began in 2019 with the RSV4 X, followed by the Tuono X in 2020, the RSV4 X Trenta in 2022, and finally in 2024 with the RSV4 X ex3ma. This is the basis for this new model, which is largely based on the MotoGP RS-GP, which this year celebrates 10 years since its debut in the World Championship.

Like the previous models, the RSV4 X-GP, presented at the Catalan Grand Prix, is a special edition limited to just 30 units, born from Aprilia Racing's experience in MotoGP. It costs €108,900, including VAT, and, like the previous models, is not approved for use on public roads. The most powerful engine... The engine is based on the 1,099cc 65° V4 also found in the RSV4, but has been tuned to Superbike racing specifications and individually tuned by Aprilia's racing department. Power has increased to 238 hp at 13,750 rpm, with a top speed of 14,100 rpm, and peak torque is 131 Nm at 11,750 rpm.

To achieve this, the compression ratio has been increased, a Sprint Filter racing air filter has been added, new intake trumpets, a new oil pan, an STM dry clutch, and a titanium exhaust system replicating the MotoGP version made by SC Project with dual exhaust and compensator.

The electronic control unit comes from Aprilia Racing APX and is an exclusive model. It is specifically similar to the latest evolution of the one used in the Superbike World Championship, won by Max Biaggi with the RSV4. It features the same control strategies used in the RSV4 racing series, with fully adjustable parameters to adapt to riding style and track conditions.

The electronic system also includes a mode to save all data for later analysis and allows adjustments to rider assistance, wheelie control, power, traction, and engine braking. It also has an integrated GPS system.

Experienced chassis...The twin-spar aluminum frame is similar to the other RSV4s, but features race-specific equipment, with mechanically adjustable and specially tuned Ohlins suspension. The fork is a fully adjustable FKR cartridge, and the shock is a MotoGP-derived TTX, also fully adjustable.

The Brembo braking system features a 19x16 radial master cylinder at the front, paired with GP4 MS monobloc calipers with Z04 pads and 5.5mm DP 330 "T Drive" brake discs, while the rear disc has a nickel-plated caliper. The wheels are Marchesini forged magnesium wheels with Pirelli SC-1 front and SC-X rear slick tires, in 125/70-17" and 200/65-17" sizes.

Undoubtedly, the most striking aspect of the new Aprilia RSV4-X GP is its bodywork, which bears a striking resemblance to that of the RS-GP. Aprilia has distinguished itself in recent years for its aerodynamic advancements on MotoGP machines, and this bike is a faithful reflection of that, incorporating the entire aerodynamic package derived from its official team bikes.

The bodywork features leg spoilers with technology developed and patented exclusively by Aprilia Racing, and rear spoilers, both introduced a few months ago on the RS-GP25, which add downforce during braking and cornering. Additionally, a large front spoiler has been installed exclusively, complementing the lower and cornering spoilers. Added to all this is a carbon fiber seat manufactured by PAN Compositi using a sandwich material, a special method of laying down carbon layers to maximize lightness while maintaining the desired rigidity. This seat integrates structural, aerodynamic, and design functions, allowing for a dry weight of just 165 kg.

Attention to detail is evident in every corner of the bike, which includes carbon fiber fenders, a Jetprime racing brake lever, adjustable footpegs, a clutch lever, a fuel cap, an engine cover, and front brake lever guards made by Spider in machined aluminum, and a steering plate machined with its serial number.

The water and oil coolers are larger and use the same technology as the World Superbike Championship bikes, while the secondary transmission features a titanium sprocket and a lightweight PBR sprocket, as well as a narrow RK 520 chain. The RSV4 X-GP has a special paint job reminiscent of the RS-GP25. An Exclusive World
