AUDI

The last examples of Audi's most attractive model are on offer

The time of coupe-shaped sedans is behind us, the last days are being counted. At least when it comes to the new car market. At the beginning of the year, we announced the discontinuation of the A7 model by the end of the year, and that has already happened. With the change in the model nomenclature, only the A6 remained in its old position, while the A4 climbed a step higher in name and price. The A7 model has become redundant and is largely unavailable.

In Europe, it can be found in several other countries, writes Autonews Thus, France still has an active offer on the official website, while in Ireland, for example, only the RS7 is offered, at a price slightly higher than 200,000 euros.

And when we thought that the offer would be limited to the offer for the Chinese market where the extended A7L is offered, it turns out that the A7 will continue to be produced in Neckarsulm. More precisely, the RS7.

Namely, according to the latest information, Audi has discontinued the A7 and S7 in America, but the RS7 will remain on offer in 2026. Namely, the first two models will replace the new A6, while the RS7 will be a separate model, probably in the Performance version. Powered by a powerful 4.0 V8 engine with 630 hp in America, it costs $ 132,700.

The Audi A7 was first introduced in 2010 as the A7 Sportback, an elegant fastback sedan that combined the luxury of a sedan, the practicality of a hatchback and the sporty character of a coupe. The model was conceived as a competitor to vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz CLS and the BMW 6 Gran Coupe.

It has experienced two generations, and has always been positioned between the A6 and the A8. More luxurious than the A6, but sportier and more dynamic than the A8, it was a symbol of sporting elegance and technological progress, and through the RS7 version it was also a demonstration of Audi's engineering capabilities.

Audi Coupe Concept

Audi Coupe Concept...The Munich Motor Show officially kicks off on September 9th, and Audi will be showing off a brand new sports car concept there. However, one image is already in front of us.

The company recently launched a teaser machine that includes social media announcements. It opens with the Audi TT and says: "The legends of yesterday are the blueprint for tomorrow." The clip then shows a number of other models, including classic racing cars and the Avus concept.

Audi also says: "For more than a century, we have been exploring the limits of what is possible. We shape the industry out of a desire to move forward."

While Audi is not saying much about its latest concept for now, CEO Gernot Delner recently revealed to Germany's Bild that it is their TT Moment 2.0. He also confirmed that the car will be electric, and "something between" the TT and the R8.

Unofficially, some previous reports say that the company is set to offer a new sports car based on the Porsche 718 EV.

If everything goes as expected, the TT's successor could also be offered in a version with all-electric motors and all-wheel drive.
