Brabus Rocket GTS Mean Green

Brabus is showing off another Mercedes SL in Shooting Brake form (officially called the Brabus Rocket GTS), described in the press release as a "hyper gran turismo shooting brake".

The BRABUS ROCKET GTS MEAN GREEN is the perfect balance between ferocity and elegance—a next-level Hyper GT Shooting Brake that was made to be heard, making its presence known long before it passes by. Its meticulously coachbuilt exterior made entirely of green exposed-structure carbon fiber radiates all-out 1-Second-Wow, transforming speed into maximum individuality. Powered by a state-of-the-art hybrid drive producing 1,000 horsepower, this is one of the most striking supercars in the history of the BRABUS ROCKET.

In addition to a modified rear end with more luggage space (there is also a set of Brabus travel bags), the Rocket GTS also has a carbon fiber aero body kit (front spoiler, air intakes, sills, rear diffuser, rear spoiler), a grille with the Brabus logo, 21-inch Brabus wheels, a new sports exhaust system, lower suspension, an improved braking system, as well as a refined interior (leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber details, illuminated sills).

The base is the hybrid SL 63 S E Performance, which is here boosted to 1000 hp and 1820 Nm of torque. Top speed is 317 km/h, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 2.6 seconds, and to 200 km/h it arrives in 9.6 seconds.

The BRABUS ROCKET GTS MEAN GREEN sets a new benchmark for bespoke performance styling. Its full carbon-fiber bodywork is made from lightweight yet high-strength exposed-structure carbon, precision-cured in an autoclave using advanced prepreg technology. The “Mean Green” finish completes the design with a unique aesthetic signature. Every contour, developed through advanced CAD modeling, CFD simulations and extensive wind tunnel testing, serves one purpose — aerodynamic perfection and stability, even beyond the 300 km/h (186 mph) threshold.

At the front, a bespoke fascia with an integrated carbon-fiber spoiler offers a brand-typical blend of form and function by significantly reducing front axle lift. large air intakes channel vital airflow to cooling systems and high-performance brakes. Along the sides, carbon-fiber skirts lead into the BRABUS ROCKET quarter panels, whose wide, flared arches shape its dynamic shooting brake silhouette and an imposing width of 198.5 cm (78.1 in.).

The transmission is a 9-speed automatic, and the drive is to all four wheels.
