RENAULT

In 2027, Dacia will present the fourth generation of the Sandero and with it the first electric version of the affordable compact hatchback from Eastern Europe, which will arrive to put pressure on the Chinese.
With almost 310 thousand units sold in 2024, the Sandero has become Dacia's best-seller and one of the best-selling cars in Europe, even taking the lead in registrations, which has "always" been held by the VW Golf.

However, on the CMF-B platform modified for Amp-R EV, the Dacia Sandero will be the brand's first native model with electric propulsion, remembering that the Spring is an electric Renault Kwid made in China.
Produced in Morocco, the New Sandero will be presented in two forms, both as a hatchback and one closer to a crossover, according to the French magazine Auto Plus, which made this projection of the Dacia model.
They say that the New Sandero will have a different look from the current hatchback and that it will be a unique model, with an emphasis on electrification.
The French also say that there will be no Stepway model, since it is a compact crossover and not an adventure hatchback,(image below) separating it from the Sandero definitively.

In the Dacia Stepway, which will be a different model, as already mentioned, this set of daytime running lights will be more voluminous to look like the main headlights, however, these will be in the lower part of the front, as in the Sandero 2028.
As for the mechanical part, turbocharged gasoline and LPG engines, as well as an electric version with low power and a small battery are expected.
