Ford Super Mustang Mach-E

Ford will be taking another electric car to the Pikes Peak Hill Climb this year, the Super Mustang Mach-E race car.

Ford has revealed very few details about this electric vehicle so far. It's obvious that the Mustang Mach-E is stylish, but it's much lower. The news highlights that the car will get a huge rear wing that hangs above a striking rear diffuser. Between these two massive aero elements are the taillights and a perforated insert.

The front of the vehicle has a massive front splitter that matches the boldness of the rear and looks much flatter and wider than the production Mach-E model.

Ford also says that the electric vehicle can generate 2,778 kg of downforce, but it's not yet known how much power it has. However, given previous electric Ford models for Pikes Peak (such as last year's Ford F-150 Lightning SuperTruck), we expect it to be powered by three electric motors with more than 1,400 hp.

It should be recalled that this year's Pikes Peak International Hill Climb race takes place on June 22nd.
