Duster Adventure: a limited edition for adventurers

The Dacia Duster, which has earned a prominent place among the best-selling cars in the European market, saw its success consolidate even further with the launch of its third-generation version.

Last year, the model saw a 13% increase in sales, totaling an impressive 175,000 units sold.

Although most versions available there are front-wheel drive, Renault maintains the Duster's robust and off-road image, such as the special Adventure edition, which arrives to make its presence felt in the Romanian market.

This exclusive version is based on the only all-wheel drive version and features a 1.2 TCe three-cylinder engine, delivering 131 horsepower, combined with a six-speed manual transmission.

There are no significant changes to the mechanical assembly, with the four-wheel drive system remaining with a clutch on the rear axle and the engine remaining unchanged.

The big difference is in the suspension, now equipped with Koni shock absorbers and new springs, which increase ground clearance by 30 mm.

The BF Goodrich tires, 215/70 R16, are ideal for tackling more difficult terrain.

To reinforce its robustness and suitability for adventures, Dacia has also invested in increased protection.

Below the engine and gearbox, a 6 mm thick duralumin plate offers extra protection, while the rear differential has a 2.5 mm steel panel.

Aesthetically, the Duster Adventure has a fun look, with khaki paint and decals on the sides, LED spotlights and a steel roof rack, as well as a CB antenna.

Dacia a pregătit un kit Adventure pentru noul Duster

In terms of equipment, the Duster Adventure follows the complete package of the Extreme version, with all the treats and accessories you would expect from a top-of-the-line model.

But of course, this exclusivity comes at a price, at €32,600, a much higher price compared to the Duster Extreme with all-wheel drive, which costs €26,300 in Romania. Is it worth it? There are only 23 units…
