RENAULT

RENAULT CAPTUR

Captur arrives on the European market costing €23,200

There was no need to wait long. Renault presented the update of the small Captur on April 4th and wasted no time in opening orders for its B-segment SUV, which has to face a vast number of competitors, with emphasis on the Peugeot 2008. Now without the plug-in hybrid in 160 hp, the French brand focuses on a 12V mild hybrid with the same power (TCe 160 EDC), maintaining the gasoline offering (1.0 TCe with 90 hp), LPG (TCe 100 Bi-Fuel) and the E -Tech full hybrid with 145 hp. There are three equipment levels, with Evolution being the most basic, Techno being the intermediate one and the Esprit Alpine version being the top-end version, which is why it is only available for the most powerful engines in the range, namely the TCe 160 EDC and the full hybrid. The price list starts at €23,200, the value associated with the TCe 90 engine, and goes up to €32,800 required in exchange for the Captur E-Tech full hybrid 145 in the Esprit Alpine version.

With an already very “composed” offer at the Evolution equipment level, featuring as standard, for example, full LED headlights at the front and rear, as well as a rear parking camera, the Captur makes another qualitative leap when the option falls on the line. Techno. It already has automatic air conditioning, tinted windows, induction smartphone charging, 18” alloy wheels and tinted windows, among a series of other items designed to make the driver's life easier and offer more comfort and safety on board. For the most demanding — and willing to pay at least €2,300 more — the Esprit Alpine versions will be the most suitable, offering as standard access not only to two-tone body paint but also to the most efficient Google services. In the gallery below you will find the complete specifications of the different equipment levels, as well as the cost of the different options for the renewed Captur.

Saying goodbye once and for all to the possibility of covering the interior with animal skin, the update of the Captur aligns with the brand's new stylistic identity, which gives it a more modern appearance and, at the same time, reinforces the “family” feel.

For those who want a more personalized model, the catalog of options is extensive, but what can most favor the French B-SUV are its differentiating arguments. Firstly, the fact of enjoying the OpenR Link multimedia system, whose gateway is a 10.4-inch central screen that takes advantage, from the Techno version, of Android Automotive 12, synonymous with several Google services and user-friendly use. and intuitive.

Check below all the prices of the renewed model, which is scheduled to arrive at Portuguese dealers in the second half of the year, hopefully in July/August.
