The new generation of Land Rover Defender is making a good impression around the world, especially among preparation experts. The reinterpretation of an icon for the 21st century is smart, capable and safe for the whole family. Furthermore, thanks to the Apocalypse updates, this Defender 110 has become a true madness capable of reaching the most inhospitable places on the planet.
There is no other vehicle like the current Defender, although unfortunately it is no longer the indestructible Defender we knew. At least as a series. It looks tough because it really is, boasting a practical design and spectacular engineering to continue to hold a very special place in the hearts of the most adventurous, whilst also being more comfortable on the road.
The Americans at Apocalypse are known for their conversions of six-wheeled vehicles, but the specialist also carries out several works on four-wheeled off-road vehicles. And this is perhaps one of the wildest we've ever seen. The exterior is reinforced with numerous off-road components, such as custom skid plates, a winch and side ladders.
The preparer also adds a roof rack and new larger wheels. The copper-finished five-spoke wheels are shod with huge all-terrain tires. To introduce them into the set and further improve the dimensions of the Defender 110, Apocalypse raised the body by an additional 228 mm, doubling the standard figure.
All this without compromising the functionality of the model's adjustable air suspension system. Modifications are offered for all mechanics, but in this example, for sale at South Florida Jeeps, we have the 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine with 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque from the P300. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
