At launch, the Mazda CX-80 will be available with a choice of two powertrains: e-Skyactiv PHEV, which combines a 4-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor, offering engaging performance and excellent environmental credentials; and the e-Skyactiv D, with a highly efficient 6-cylinder in-line diesel engine, integrating Mazda's M Hybrid Boost 48V mild-hybrid system, which provides exceptional values in terms of performance, emissions and fuel consumption for the segment.
The total system relating to the e-Skyactiv PHEV engine has a total power of 327 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, reaches a top speed of 195 km/h and offers 60 km of driving in 100% electric mode. With excellent environmental credentials, it has an average WLTP fuel consumption of 62.5 km/l and CO2 emissions of just 36 g/km. The e-Skyactiv D engine generates 254 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 219 km/h. The CX-80 platform features a double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension to ensure high levels of ride comfort, a stable stance and smooth body control. Its rear-dominant permanent all-wheel drive system combines stability and grip with the cornering neutral characteristics of a rear-wheel drive configuration.
