FERRARI F296 GTB BY ZACOE: DIETA RICA EM FIBRA DE CABONO

FERRARI F296 GTB ZACOE

In mid-2022, Ferrari presented the first 6-cylinder automobile for a road model in its history. The Ferrari F296 GTB was born to position itself above the F8 Tributo and today Zacoe shows its attractive proposal for the Italian sports car. The Taiwanese coach's Ferrari F296 GTB offers aesthetic, but not mechanical, novelties.

They say the F296 GTB is the most fun car to drive in the Maranello house's product line. We can neither confirm nor deny this, but its 2.9-liter hybrid V6 engine is promising. This is the brand's first modern sports car with a 6-cylinder engine and the truth is that its figures are very interesting.

Thanks to its 663 hp and 221 hp/l, the F296 GTB's V6 combustion engine sets a new specific power record for a series production car. This propellant combines with an electric motor at the rear capable of delivering up to 122 kW (167 hp). In total, a power of 830 hp and 740 Nm of torque. However, are its aesthetics equally appealing?

Aesthetically, the specialist's F296 GTB has everything you would expect from a good Italian stallion. As we know, the Taiwanese tuner is no stranger to Maranello and has already presented similar aerodynamic packages for other models such as the Ferrari SF90, the F488 GTB and the F8 Tributo. Like these, it features an eye-catching carbon fiber body with new aerodynamic appendages.

It is finished in red with various contrasts in exposed carbon fiber. It includes a larger front splitter, a set of side skirts, a ventilated hood and diffuser extensions. Without a doubt, the most eye-catching are the extended fenders. They feature wide air intakes at the front and follow the sinuous lines of the sports car at the rear, merging with a more pronounced aerofoil.

All components were designed with the aim of reducing weight and increasing aerodynamic load, in addition to producing a unique visual impact. This F296 GTZ (Gran Turismo di Zacoe), as it was named by the expert, has stylistic references to the classic F250 LM, although its aerodynamics are inspired by modern Ferrari racing cars.

Finishing off the set is a new set of light alloy wheels. As icing on the cake, the overall height of the sports car is lowered thanks to a new suspension system with specific sports springs.
