FORD F-250 SHELBY SUPER BAJA: UM MONSTRO COM ATÉ 507 CV

2024 Shelby F-250 Super Baja

We all know that in the United States, huge pickups like the Ford Super Duty are very popular. Taking advantage of the recent renewal of the Ford F-250 and the SEMA Show in Las Vegas last week, Shelby American wanted to surprise everyone with the launch of the 2024 Shelby F-250 Super Baja, a limited edition of 300 copies.

With a price starting at $154,995, including the Ford F-250 Lariat 4x4, the Shelby F-250 Super is characterized by its off-road and towing capabilities. Under the hood is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel engine that produces a fantastic 482 hp and 1,422 Nm of maximum torque.

For those customers who find this insufficient, they can opt for a braver version with 507 hp and 1,625 Nm of maximum torque. The transmission is a 10-speed automatic and has a four-wheel drive system.

On an aesthetic level, Shelby American didn't want to leave things to chance either. This imposing monster stands out with a renewed hood with ventilation, new reinforced bumpers, a luggage rack with two spare tires in the bed, LED auxiliary lighting on the roof and front bumper, Shelby's signature on the grille and running boards. electric retractable sides.

Of course, there is no shortage of a graphics package for the body, a new bed liner and 20-inch wheels shod with huge 37-inch BFGoodrich KM3 all-terrain tires. On a technical level, we can find a Fox 2.0 suspension that offers greater height, more travel and better off-road handling.

It features adjustable upper control arms, custom front control arms and a dual Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer. There are also front coilovers with Fox 2.5 adjustable reservoirs and Fox Factory Race 2.5 adjustable rear shocks with piggyback reservoirs. Inside, the Shelby synthetic leather seats and carbon fiber moldings stand out.
