The Toyota GR86 40th Anniversary is commemorating 40 years of Hachiro

In the United States, the 40th anniversary of the launch of the Hachiroku, i.e. the Corolla AE86, was already launched at the end of June with the limited series Trueno (the type was sold under that name there), now in Japan they are celebrating with the GR86 40th Anniversary – of course we must not forget about the fact that at the beginning of the year, the future-proof prototypes of the original classic were already made…

For Japanese fans, only 200 copies of the limited series model based on top equipment will be made, which, in addition to the obligatory sticker decoration, badges and stitched emblems, will receive ZF Sachs shock absorbers and perforated Brembo brake discs at the front. 

The body can be red or white, with contrasting glossy black body trims and 18-inch rims. For the 2024 model year, the Toyota GR86 sports car will receive the latest version of the Subaru EyeSight driver support system, and the engineers have refined the operation of the stability control.
