2024 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat
Dodge has a well-deserved reputation as a top-performing brand, but things get complicated as the Charger and Challenger retire. To make matters worse, Ram recently announced plans to end production of the 1500 TRX later this year.
That leaves enthusiasts with only a few ‘performance’ options from Dodge under the Stellantis hood. Fortunately, the Durango SRT and SRT Hellcat remain in the offer next year as well, it says Jutarnji.hr.
The first has a 6.4-liter V8 that develops 482 hp (354 kW) and 637 Nm of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system, which allows the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds.

In terms of novelty, blind spot monitoring is now standard on the Durango line. Models equipped with a trailer hitch also come with a new blind spot monitoring system that features trailer detection. In addition to the new safety features, the Durango Citadel will be offered with the Tow N Go package that has proven popular on the Durango R/T.

The package gives the model an SRT-inspired makeover thanks to a sporty body kit and 20-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Zero all-season tires. The package also adds red or black brake calipers, depending on the version. They are joined by an active damping suspension, an electronic limited slip differential and a retuned active noise cancellation system.

Other features include a 5.7 liter HEMI V8, an increased top speed of 233 km/h and a towing capacity of up to 3946 kg. Dodge didn’t mention pricing, but the outgoing generation starts at $40,140 (€37,390) and climbs into the six-figure range for the SRT Hellcat Premium.
