Vogue 525DSX: New Trail Adventure
The new Voge 525DSX receives significant upgrades to the inline-twin powertrain, which has undergone careful in-house optimization, adopting a 'square' configuration with a 68mm bore and stroke. This has allowed the engine displacement to be increased from its predecessor from 471 cc to 494 cc, without neglecting its characteristic double overhead cam four-valve cylinder head. The cylinder head has been completely revised, with improvements to the ducting, valves and timing, as well as an improved compression ratio from 10.7 to 11.5:1. Likewise, the gear ratios of the six speeds have been adjusted to adapt to the new characteristics of the engine.

Although these modifications have not led to an increase in power, their main focus is to cater to those with an A2 driver's license limited to 35 kW or 47.6 PS. However, a notable increase in maximum torque has been achieved, reaching 44.5 Nm, with a smooth and constant power delivery curve from low revs. In addition, two drive modes, standard and sport, have been added, along with additional features such as switchable Traction Control (TCS) and a slipper clutch.
It rides on 19/17-inch spoked wheels shod with Metzeler Tourance tubeless tires and top-notch suspension, including a Kayaba 41mm inverted fork with 150mm of travel, adjustable for preload and rebound, and a progressive-adjustable monoshock with the same brand. As for the braking system, the Voge 525 DSX relies on a set of 298 mm front double discs and a 240 mm rear disc, equipped with Nissin calipers with ABS with three levels of intervention, and the option to disconnect it at the wheel. rear for field driving.
The seat is located at 830 mm which, together with the narrowness of the tank where it joins the seat, allows the pilot to reach the ground by supporting himself with both feet. In this off-road use that has been promoted, the 525 DSX stands out for having side guards that protect the engine and the fairings in falls, hand protectors on the handlebars, a raised exhaust muffler outlet or the central stand, in addition to the side, to facilitate maintenance or repair tasks.
But it is also well adapted to asphalt, with a screen that can be manually adjusted in two positions, Full LED lighting with the extra of fog lights, a 7” color LCD screen, real-time monitoring of tire pressure with alerts for rapid deflation or overheating, Bluetooth connectivity with mobile phone and basic navigation system and USB (5V) and cigarette lighter (12V) sockets on both sides of the fairing.
