LAMBORGHINI URUS BY 1016 INDUSTRIES: REFORÇANDO A PRESENÇA DO SUV ITALIANO SEM EXAGEROS

Lamborghini Urus S 1016 Industries

As we already know, the Lamborghini Urus S is the successor to the original Urus, which established a new niche by creating the luxury Super SUV segment. Like its predecessor, it's a monster in terms of performance. Aesthetically it is aggressive, but we also know that you can always go one step further in every way.

On this occasion we show the Lamborghini Urus S by 1016 Industries, an American tuner located in Miami, which usually brings very interesting proposals for the aesthetics of some of the most desired models on the planet. The specialist's latest project involves the SSUV - Super Sport Utility Vehicle - from the brand of Sant'Agata Bolognese.

The Italian model gets a new extended body kit with a generous carbon fiber finish and numerous details give the car a much more forceful and exclusive look. It's not as wild as the Lamborghini Urus Venatus by Mansory, but it's not far off. Furthermore, these same modifications are also available for the Urus Performante.

The Lamborghini Urus by 1016 Industries features a distinctive exterior paintwork, contrasting parts in carbon fiber, forged carbon fiber and fibre-reinforced plastic. The optics have been darkened to give it a sportier touch, while the hood has new elements. The Vision 2.0 package also includes a revised front end with a flashier splitter.

These are added to wheel arches widened by 120 mm, side skirts and a spoiler on the roof. Also new is the prominent and aggressive rear bumper, which integrates a carbon fiber diffuser. Finishing off the set are the huge 24-inch light-alloy wheels signed by Forgiato, shod with sports tires.

The icing on the cake is a Capristo exhaust system with carbon fiber tailpipes. The only pity is that there is no news under the hood. Remembering that the Urus S has a powerful 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine that delivers 666 hp of power and 850 Nm of maximum torque as standard. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 305 km/h.

The Urus chassis with adaptive air suspension can be adjusted thanks to the STRADA, SPORT, CORSA and EGO driving modes, and TERRA, NEVE and SABBIA drive modes. With the same propulsion system calibration as the Urus Performante, the Urus S delivers responsiveness and peak performance when you need it.

In the Performante, power was increased by 16 hp, up to 666 hp. Its weight has been reduced by 47 kg, which gives it a weight/power ratio of 3.2, the best in its category. The Urus Performante accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and brakes from 100 km/h to 0 in 32.9 meters. It develops 850 Nm of torque between 2,300 and 4,500 rpm.
