2024 GR Corolla

The most popular compact Toyota lineup returns as a model for 2024 as part of the new Circuit Edition edition.

The GR Corolla models represent everything the world loves about cars in 2023, but with additional improved elements and modern conveniences, and now it’s time to see what all buyers, as well as gamers, will look forward to this time, when the new edition hits the market and into the world of video games this year.

The Circuit Edition edition arrives as a step above the base offer in the form of the GR Corolla Core model. For 2024, the popular range carries over the same carbon fiber roof, large black rear spoiler and Torsen limited slip differential from last year. The new model will also get a Brin Naub shade, synthetic leather sports seat trim and a JBL premium audio system.

Exclusive changes to the 2024 model include a new Blue Flame exterior along with special blue interior accents. The new car arrives with a minor redesign of the front air intakes and chassis for better aerodynamics and handling. Toyota claims to have changed the mounting bolts for the steering system, rear suspension and battery ground.

The new eighteen-inch reinforced aluminum wheels are similar to those arriving on this year’s super-hot MORIZO editions, while buyers will be able to find Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on them.

Under the hood is the same three-cylinder turbo unit as last year, responsible for creating the same 300 hp and 369 Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via a cleverly designed all-wheel drive system and an exclusive six-speed manual transmission.

Toyota claims that the new GR Corolla Circuit Edition model will go on sale this fall and that something more about its price will be known by then. The Japanese brand will create 1,600 units of the new line and for now there is no definitive information on how many GR Corolla models will be available.

In addition, the Japanese manufacturer confirmed that the GR Corolla will soon become a model available to Gran Turismo players worldwide, but did not specify when it will appear in its virtual form on the Playstation exclusive, although it will certainly not be limited to 1,600 units like in the real world. , that is, representative offices will not have the opportunity to mark them in their salons.
