Suzuki GSX-S1000 Race Edition

Suzuki France and SERT (Suzuki Endurance Racing Team) have joined forces for the Suzuki GSX-S1000 Race Edition. Unfortunately, this edition will only be available for the French market

Like the previous special edition, the V-Strom 800 DE Rally Edition, the newly announced GSX features a number of other upgrades to enhance the bike’s looks and capabilities.

The GSX-S1000 Race Edition has a set of dedicated graphics to refresh the look, including racing, SERT branded decals. Elsewhere, the Suzuki gets a tidy rear end and a revised windscreen, along with a different seat and seat cover design.

There’s a track-ready GB Racing brake lever guard. The updated machine is also visually lifted with the addition of red front brake calipers.

The decals and brake kits are good, but the main element that sets the GSX-S1000 Race Edition apart from the stock bike is the exhaust system. On that front, the new SERT edition is equipped with an Akrapovič exhaust system that looks comfortable, saves weight and improves the sound of that 1,000cc inline-four engine.

Unfortunately, the kit is only available from French dealers and costs money 16.999 evra.
