The new Peugeot Panoramic i-COCKPIT illustrates Peugeot's metamorphosis. In an innovative and determined move towards full electrification, the French brand will replace its bestselling 3008 with an all-new electric fastback SUV.

The new Peugeot 3008 will be presented in September. Starting today, Peugeot begins to reveal all the novelties of the new Peugeot Panoramic i-COCKPIT, which demonstrate the metamorphosis of the new 3008.

New Peugeot Panoramic I-COCKPIT: An impressive new generation for the future Peugeot 3008...The new generation Peugeot i-Cockpit of the future Peugeot 3008 will leave a lasting mark thanks to its impressive 21-inch curved panoramic screen, with high definition, that levitates over the dashboard, its new compact steering wheel and its i-Toggles. In a decade of success and development, the Peugeot i-Cockpit has never undergone such a metamorphosis.

The ambition of the Peugeot teams was to reinvent the fundamental elements that will make the new Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit a unique proposition on the market, offering drivers and passengers ever higher levels of pleasure, safety, comfort and well-being.

Produced for more than 10 years, in about 10 million copies, the different generations of the Peugeot i-Cockpit have integrated all the latest technologies available: digital instrument panel, wireless connectivity, voice commands, 3D effects, i-Toogles customizable, etc. Today, Peugeot goes even further with an entirely new i-Cockpit that transforms the driving experience: the new Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit.

A 21-inch, high-definition, 'floating' curved panoramic screen that brings together the head-up display and the central touchscreen... The Peugeot teams decided to combine two of the three fundamental elements of the i-Cockpit concept, the head-up up display and the large central touch screen. These elements are, from now on, integrated into a curved panoramic screen, made up of a single 21-inch high-definition panel, which extends from the left end of the dashboard to the center console. Attached by a rear pillar that is invisible from the passenger compartment, this panoramic screen actually levitates over the dashboard. This 'floating' effect is accentuated by specially placed ambient LED lighting beneath the display.

Positioned for optimized ergonomics, this panoramic 21-inch screen curves slightly towards the driver, while remaining perfectly accessible to the passenger in the right-hand section. This digital dashboard of exceptional size and quality thus combines two essential functions of the Peugeot i-Cockpit:

- On its left side, the panoramic screen gathers, above the compact steering wheel, all the information relating to driving (speed, power meter, driving aids, energy flow, etc.);

- On its right side, in the center of the dashboard, the touch screen is accessible to both the driver and the passenger, and allows managing the heating/air conditioning, navigation, multimedia/connectivity systems, etc.

- A reinvented architecture and ergonomics... The new Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit features an unprecedented architecture, innovative by the implantation of the panoramic screen in elevation on the dashboard, through an invisible fixing base from the passenger compartment. This layout optimizes touchscreen accessibility and visibility of information displayed on the 21-inch widescreen.

The central part of the panel houses the i-Toggles, fully customizable touch-sensitive buttons that can be programmed to provide quick access to the user's 10 favorite functions, whether it's calling a favorite contact, initiating navigation to a destination frequently used, tune the radio to a station of your choice, set the ideal temperature for the air conditioning, etc.
