Marco Bezzecchi wins at the Bugatti Circuit

In a race marked by several accidents and even an exchange of aggression between riders, the Italian Marco Bezzecchi won the MotoGP stage in France. The victory, the second of the season, scrambled the classification of the Drivers' World Championship. The Italian reached 93 points and is one behind leader Francesco Bagnaia, who was involved in a crash and did not end the dispute.

Taking the flag first became even more important as this was MotoGP's 1,000th race. Happy, Bezzecchi spoke about the performance and thanked his team.

"I managed to get the best out of the bike, made a good start and managed to catch up with the first placed. I have to thank my team a lot for their dedication and commitment", stated the VR46 rider. Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco, both from Pramac, completed the podium and made the party after the race.

In a race full of retirements, the accident that drew attention was between World leader Francesco Bagnaia and Maverick Viñales. The two collided and went off the track. Disgusted by his partner's behavior, Vinãles went to satisfy Bagnaia and the two even exchanged shoves and had to be restrained by race marshals on the side of the track.
