Ventus line: S1 Evo Z AS X, tires with motorsport technology

On the other hand, the Ventus S1 evo Z AS X is able to increase the stiffness and traction features to provide better grip performance in dry, wet and light snow conditions.

This tire uses a reinforcing belt mixed with Aramid fiber for better handling at high speeds. Aramid is claimed to be four to five times stronger than steel and heat resistant.

Thanks to these materials, steering performance increases and the shape of the tires is more optimal when used for driving at high speeds.

Another advantage is for the side that minimizes the impact between the tread blocks. The lateral grooves were also designed to be narrower on the inside and wider on the outside.

This maximizes drainage performance, prevents hydroplanning on wet roads and provides better overall grip in all seasons.

The Hankook Ventus S1 evo Z AS X is available in nine sizes, ranging from 18 to 22 inches and there will be an additional 10 sizes arriving in late 2023.
