INKAS ARMORED APRESENTA SEU PROGRAMA DE BLINDAGEM PARA O LAND ROVER DEFENDER

INKAS Armored Land Rover Defender 2023

Inkas Armored Vehicle Manufacturing, a Canadian company specializing in car armor, has just presented its latest model, a state-of-the-art Land Rover Defender, prepared to face any type of danger thanks to its BR6 protection level.

Despite the British all-terrain's high level of armor, with 360-degree protection according to the company itself, it does not differ at all in terms of aesthetics from a conventional Land Rover Defender, which is undoubtedly an advantage, because it does not draw attention more than the necessary.

Inkas assures that the model is indistinguishable from the serial Defender, despite having protection throughout the bodywork, military-grade anti-bullet glass, armored door frames, fully armored cabin, military-grade 'runflat' tires and protection for the fuel tank, for example.

The CEN 1063 BR6 protection level means that the car can not only withstand impacts from the ammunition of a 7.62mm assault rifle, but also the simultaneous detonations of up to two DM51 hand grenades from underneath the vehicle. The passenger compartment, incidentally, is homologated for five occupants.

The wide list of options offered by Inkas includes shielding for the engine compartment, a fire extinguishing system for the same, protection for the exhaust pipe and the radiator, an escape hatch in the roof, a GPS with video surveillance system , night vision camera, exterior siren and speaker, and auxiliary LED lights, among other things.

The customer can also ask for an assistance mechanism for opening the doors, which are much heavier than the standard ones, 'heavy duty' wheels, an oxygen filtration system for the passenger compartment and reinforced bumpers.

The model incorporates the British brand's 5.0 liter V8 gasoline engine, with 525 hp of power, coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission, with torque converter, which sends all the power of the 8-cylinder block to the four wheels. In this case, the fuel tank is 90 liters.

Due to the significant increase in weight of this Land Rover Defender, Inkas reinforced the suspension and braking system, although it did not detail the changes. The model is already available on request, although Inkas has not announced the price of the armor or the different options.
