O PEUGEOT 9X8 PARA LE MANS COM O DESIGN GRÁFICO DE J. DEMSKY APRESENTADO NA SEMANA DE DESIGN DE MILÃO

Peugeot 9X8 that will race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be at Milan Design Week

At Milan Design Week, Peugeot will hold an exhibition created specifically for this event, which combines art and technology. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in an immersive universe, made up of a variety of canvases that present the unique art style of J. Demsky and the new livery of the Peugeot 9X8 that will race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Matthias Hossann, Peugeot Design Director, Phil York, Peugeot Marketing and Communications Director, and Gustavo Menezes, Official Team Peugeot TotalEnergies Driver, attended the unveiling of this new livery. The Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar will be on display until April 23.

By imagining the new body design for the 9X8, J. Demsky did more than simply decorate a vehicle: he was sending a powerful message, in the great tradition of the 'Art Cars' that marked the history of the automobile, applying it to a model of competition that expresses the best of Peugeot in terms of looks, efficiency and technology. J. Demsky is an eclectic Spanish artist, who has also created a graphic design for the team's riders' racing clothing and helmets.

Thus, Peugeot continues its strategy of partnerships with talented artists, with the graphic design of the Peugeot 9X8 being the second collaboration of the year, perfectly illustrating the promise that “The world is better with style”.

The unique graphic design of these decorations will be applied to the 9X8 in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, proof that it will celebrate its 100th anniversary this year. The Peugeot 9X8 will thus follow in the footsteps of its illustrious predecessors, the 905 (winner at Le Mans in 1992 and 1993) and the 908 (2009). This four-wheel drive hypercar brings Peugeot's hybrid savoir-faire to the world's stages of top motorsport.

Since July 2022, Team Peugeot TotalEnergies has entered two 9X8s in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). It makes, in 2023, its first complete season.
