KTM 890 SMT...KTM is back with its legendary supermoto-tourer, which is better than ever before!

Former AMA Superbike and Supermoto racer, Chris Fillmore, rode the KTM 890 SMT along a mountain climb in Sardinia to demonstrate its potential and limits. With an 889cc LC8c parallel twin engine, the KTM 890 SMT has 105 hp at 8,000 rpm, providing stability and safety through corners.

The KTM 890 SMT is just as good at low revs as it is at higher speeds, making it a versatile choice for any rider.

The KTM 890 SMT has a redesigned slim fuel tank that simply tucks the rider into the seat.

The motorcycle’s aerodynamically optimized tinted windshield sits just above the twin fenders with a low-set guard. CroMo steel frame with narrower geometry provides serious stability, while WP APEX suspension, fully adjustable and complemented by 17-inch wheels, provides a nimble, spirited and fast ride.

The bike has several standard riding modes and can be further shaped with optional track settings that allow the rider to vary the amount of throttle and traction control through ten levels.

Motorcycle Cornering Traction Control (MTC) is an important safety feature that is sensitive to the lean and lean behavior of the motorcycle. The machine features a state-of-the-art 5-inch TFT control panel that is scratch and glare resistant, fully customizable and easy to use.

With powerful brakes using ABS, the KTM 890 SMT has an excellent safety profile. The bike also features heated grips and the option to add Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) to the software package, ideal for better control in low-grip situations and for quick gear changes.

Additional options include quickshifter+ and cruise control, ready to go with a simple activation process, and a good connection to the motorcycle means full access to navigation options.
