Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Concept

Hyundai teamed up with Disney and presented the Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Concept at the New York Auto Show. The reason for this is the celebration of the centennial of the Walt Disney Company, which will be completed on October 16, 2023.

The Korean company is the exclusive North American automotive sponsor of Disney's anniversary events, which will be held throughout the year.

The Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Concept is currently in prototype form but will go into limited production, with details to be revealed later this year just before its release. Hyundai, however, says its all-electric model will feature a little bit of Disney magic.

More specifically, there are animations projected onto the front and rear LED panels of the headlights, which project Disney animations, with the Disney100 Platinum Concept logo present on the front fenders.

Continuing, the car has 20-inch wheels with a design inspired by Mickey Mouse, while the bodywork is painted in a matte shade called “Gravity Gold”.

Moving on to the interior, the special edition logo can be found on the center console, floor mats and seat headrests, with the roof suitably decorated, while different functions are offered for hidden lighting.

Finally, when the Ioniq 5 starts up, iconic Disney music is played, while at the same time special graphics are displayed on the center screen.
