Mustang Dark Horse 2024

When Ford unveiled the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse last September, it also announced that it would offer optional carbon fiber wheels from Carbon Revolution. The automaker has now released some photos with a first look at the new wheels.

The 19-inch rims are Ford’s first five-spoke, one-piece, and made of carbon fiber. These are also the first wheels from Carbon Revolution to have lug nuts in the style of the classic Mustang design. Ford and Carbon Revolution previously collaborated on the Mustang Shelby GT350R and Ford GT.

Dark Horse has a lot of standard equipment that is optional on other variants. It comes with a Torsen limited slip differential, upgraded dampers and larger Brembo brakes. Ford adds a host of visual upgrades to that, such as a large rear wing, gloss black grille, rear diffuser and LED headlights.

Ford has also made unique improvements to the cabin, such as a blue titanium ball for the six-speed manual transmission. Those who opt for the 10-speed automatic get silver paddle shifters. Ford uses indigo blue stitching on the dashboard, center console and shifter housing. There’s also an optional Dark Horse Appearance package that adds Recaro seats.
