CF MOTO
Papio XO-2
CFMOTO has revealed the second version of its Papio series of minibike models. It is a model bearing the designation XO-2.
Both models share the same air-cooled 126cc single-cylinder engine that produces 9.4bhp and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. While the Papio XO-1 is only available in the US, this retro-styled series could be exported to other markets, with an official announcement expected this summer.
The Papio XO-2 has a high-mounted front fender, one-piece seat and grab bar, giving it the look of an 1980s Dakar racer. The handlebars are taller and wider than those on the XO-1, and the footpegs are lower and further forward, resulting in a more upright riding position.
The motorcycle has tires with a deeper tread for off-road use, and the lower part has been modified to get more ground clearance. The twin headlights and mirrors carry the same design theme as the XO-1, with a single “X” hidden inside one headlight and an “O” in the other.
The Papio XO-2 has the same dimensions as the XO-1 in terms of wheelbase, length and weight.
CFMOTO is rapidly expanding its Papio line, with an electric version, the Papio Nova, already available in China and expected to reach foreign markets during the year.
