POLESTAR 2 BST EDITION 230: MELHORANDO A EDIÇÃO 270 ANTERIOR

BST Edition 230: the second limited edition Polestar 2

Polestar this week unveiled the BST Edition 230, the second limited edition Polestar 2 after the BST Edition 270. Developed as part of its Polestar Engineered line, this model adopts the same chassis modifications as the original BST, but focuses more in design details emphasizing high performance.

These include exclusive Nebula Green paintwork, MicroSuede fabric for the seats and steering wheel inserts, made from partially recycled materials. Customers can also opt for Space Black paint, as well as an optional stripe on the exterior.

“Limited editions like the BST Edition 230 allow you to explore colors, graphics and materials faster and more creatively,” says Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar. Other styling enhancements are body-color painted skirts and trim, and high-gloss black mirror housings.

The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 has an electric propulsion system consisting of two engines, which provide a total of 476 hp (350 kW) and 680 Nm of torque. This mechanic allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 205 km/h.

But this limited edition goes further than pure performance as the vehicle adopts all the chassis improvements that were first implemented on the original Polestar 2 BST Edition 270.

These include a 25mm lower curb height, dual-adjustment Öhlins adaptive dampers, front strut, 20% stiffer springs and exclusive 21-inch forged light-alloy wheels with 245/245 Pirelli P Zero tires. 35 R21.

The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 also features perforated and ventilated Brembo front brake discs with a diameter of 400 mm and four-piston calipers. At the rear, the discs are ventilated to 390mm and single-piston calipers.

As the name of this special edition suggests, Polestar will manufacture a total of 230 units for the European and North American markets. Customers can order one immediately from the Swedish manufacturer's website, and deliveries are expected from the third quarter of 2023.
