VALTTERI BOTTAS JÁ RECEBEU SEU NOVO ALFA ROMEO GIULIA GTAm

Valtteri Bottas received from the Stellantis &You dealership in Turin (Italy) one of the exclusive Giulia GTAm

Valtteri Bottas, Alfa Romeo driver and who this year started his 11th Formula 1 season, purchased one of the exclusive Giulia GTAm from the Stellantis &You dealership in Turin (Italy).

His new car displays the characteristic Alfa Romeo Red tone and with this acquisition he becomes one of the few owners of this exclusive model. The Finnish driver, upon receiving the sports car, declared that he was proud to be a brand ambassador and now a customer of this collector's car.

The GTAm, inspired by its 1965 parent, has the latest evolution of the 2.9 V6 biturbo engine, which delivers a power of 540 hp to the sedan. In addition, it benefits from an improvement in weight, as they managed to reduce it by 100 kg compared to the Quadrifoglio version.

The car has a large number of parts made of carbon fiber, essential for this weight reduction, as well as a titanium exhaust system, signed by the Slovenian specialist Akrapovic. All this to announce a beautiful performance: it reaches 300 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.

The 500 copies of this car will be distributed between the GTA and GTAm versions, the second being even more exclusive. The differences are small, but notable: the GTAm version has only two seats, safety bars and belts with six support points.

Sauber Engineering, which works side by side with the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team, worked directly on this car, creating prototypes and producing aerodynamic components for the Giulia GTA.

After receiving the vehicle, Valtteri Bottas went to Centro Alfa Romeo to work with the Formula 1 team, to face the 2023 season that had just started. Bottas ended last weekend's race in eighth place, giving the team four points that put him fifth in the Italian team after the first round of the championship.
