ATTUCKS APEX AP-0: UM SUPERCARRO ELÉTRICO SINO-BRITÂNICO QUE IMPRESSIONA PELO BAIXO PESO

Attucks Apex AP-0: the very interesting new Sino-British electric supercar

Recently unveiled at the Amelia Island Concours D’Elegance held in Florida, United States, the Attucks Apex AP-0 is the new electric supercar from the company Apex Motors which, as shown here, had already been anticipated by a prototype in 2020.

Now, the British model officially hits the market, and its technical sheet is already impressive. To begin with, the rear electric motor develops a power of 659 hp and a maximum torque of 580 Nm, but this is not the vehicle's most outstanding feature.

The truth is that its most striking feature is its low weight, especially when it comes to a 100% electric model, as it claims only 1,200 kilos, that is, almost half of other zero-emission super sports cars like the Rimac Nevera, which weighs 2,150 kilos.

The result of combining the electric motor's performance figures with the low weight of the package is first-class performance. The Attucks Apex AP-0 advertises an acceleration from 0 to 96 km/h (0-60 mph) in 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h.

The model's battery, with a capacity of 90 kWh, is mounted in a very low position in the car and, at least in the prototype (the definitive figure has not yet been announced) promised a WLTP autonomy of up to 515 kilometers and also the option of being recharged. through direct current.

The 2020 concept, based on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, had dimensions of 4.38 meters long, 1.93 meters wide and 1.22 meters high, with a ground clearance of just 9.5 centimeters.

This concept also announced 19-inch carbon fiber wheels at the front and 20 at the rear, and a brake system with carbon-ceramic discs measuring 360 millimeters at the front axle and 340 at the rear, along with six- and four-piston calipers, respectively.

The price of the model, at least in the United States, reaches 350,000 dollars, although we do not know when it will be sold in other markets.
