RSQ8-S ABT SPORTSLINE...The Audi RSQ8-S by ABT Sportsline takes the German SUV to the pinnacle of performance. It is based, as its name implies, on the Audi RS Q8. This is equipped with the same 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine that powers the Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback. Remembering that he even became the king of the Nürburgring Nordschlife on his own merits.

Its mechanics offer 600 hp of power and 800 Nm of torque available between 2,200 and 4,500 rpm. The RS Q8 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, while the sprint from 0 to 200 km/h is done in just 13.7 seconds. It reaches a limited top speed of 250 km/h, although it can be increased as standard to 305 km/h.

However, if the German specialist ABT Sportsline stands out for something, it is for the preparations it carries out on the large SUVs of the VAG Group, always giving them a sporty and more aggressive touch without going beyond the line of tackiness. Now, its proposal for the Audi RSQ8-S gets a flashier exterior and a considerable power boost.

The 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine has been modified to deliver power reaching 700 hp and 880 Nm thanks to the well-known ABT Engine Control software update. Now the acceleration figures leave 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, while the top speed exceeds 310 km/h.

On the exterior, the specialist's work includes a subtle bodywork package. It adds some very discreet elements, such as the front splitter, a more prominent diffuser and new housings for the rearview mirrors. Perhaps the most eye-catching could be said to be the huge light-alloy wheels, of which two sets are offered.

The first set is called the ABT High Performance HR and is offered in Glossy Black and Dark Smoke finishes in 22-inch and 23-inch configurations. The second set is called the High Performance GR and is also offered in 22 and 23 inch sizes. Another outstanding element is the new exhaust system with four 102 mm diameter tailpipes.

It is accompanied by a new rear muffler, replacement center muffler tubes and an electronically controlled valve. Finally, and to meet the highest standards of dynamics, agility, sportiness and comfort, ABT Level Control allows you to lower the bodywork height in three levels, up to 65 mm. Some options for the interior complete the set.
