911 GT3 RS Carrera RS 2.7 Tribute...In August last year, Porsche unveiled a very special version of its new generation 911 GT3 RS, the so-called Porsche 911 GT3 RS Carrera RS 2.7 Tribute, which at the time was just a model single or one-off, but which will now go on sale.

The only sad thing is that this flashy 911 GT3 RS, inspired by the mythical 911 Carrera RS 2.7 from 1972, will only be available on the US market, so it cannot be purchased in other countries.

Deliveries of this special edition to customers in the United States will begin in the coming weeks, but before that the car will make its official debut to the public between March 15th and 18th, on the occasion of the 12 Hours of Sebring endurance race in Florida.

One of the most interesting and impressive aspects of the Porsche model is its exterior decoration, with a combination of colors limited exclusively to the white bodywork and the Python green details.

Among these elements are the mirror housings, the magnesium wheels, a band on the bottom of the vehicle, the 'GT3 RS' inscriptions on the doors, the key itself and the 'RS' detail on the sides of the rear spoiler, which includes also the flag of the United States.

In the passenger compartment, Porsche has also added some Python green touches, such as the contrasting stitching of the different upholstery, and there is no shortage of commemorative plaques with the name of the special edition. The impressive engine of the GT3 RS remains unchanged, so we are talking about a 4.0-liter aspirated boxer 6-cylinder block, with an output of 525 hp and a maximum torque of 465 Nm.

Thanks to the 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, with shorter shifts in the RS than in the conventional GT3, the model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 296 km/h, limited by the aggressive aerodynamics of the car.

Lastly, the edition includes a 1:43 scale model of both the 2023 GT3 RS and the original 911 Carrera RS, a bespoke cover for the car and a Porsche Design watch. The price of this 'Tribute to Carrera RS' reaches $314,000 (about $91,000 more than the GT3 RS).
