Audi S3 Sportback Manhart...There is no doubt that the Audi S3 Sportback is a good base for preparations, especially in this new generation, and the Germans at Manhart never pass up an opportunity to offer an aesthetic and mechanical preparation of the juiciest from the market. A good proof of that is this Manhart S 400 built on a sedan body.
Remembering that the new Audi S3 Sportback is equipped with a 2.0 liter TFSI engine that develops 310 hp of power and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. It has all-wheel drive and a dual-clutch automatic transmission, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. However, the preparer is not satisfied with this and sought something more spicy.
Thanks to the incorporation of a new intercooler, a carbon fiber air intake, a stainless steel exhaust system with Remus' signature and a reprogrammed ECU, the specialist managed to squeeze the engine up to 400 hp and 515 Nm, a figure nothing despicable and more than enough for the compact to surpass the RS 3.
The example that appears in the images has a gray bodywork with red and black details, including an asymmetric strip that runs from the front to the rear. Icing on the cake are the 19-inch Manhart Concave One wheels in a satin black finish. We haven't noticed changes to the interior or brakes, but you can ask Manhart for new specs.
In addition to powertrain tweaks, Manhart has made minor visual and technical changes, opting for discretion. We can find a new set of H&R dampers that bring the Audi S3 closer to the ground by 30 millimeters. There's also no shortage of more visible tailpipes that feature a carbon fiber exterior finish.
