TOYOTA
Toyota RAVCross Rivai...As we know, the Toyota Corolla Cross is an SUV from the Japanese brand that is located in the line below the Toyota RAV4, both in terms of size and price, but there are those who prefer the more compact model with the aesthetics of its bigger brother. This is the case of tuner Rivai, who presented his Toyota RAVCross at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show, a body kit that converts the Corolla Cross into a kind of RAV4, loaded with off-road components and accessories. And the result is really interesting.
For starters, the front bumper of the Corolla Cross has been redesigned and now displays a similar look to the Adventure version of the RAV4, more adventurous. The hexagonal grille is also larger, includes the 'Toyota' inscription, there are plastics covering part of the headlights and an aluminum frame in the lower part of the front, for example.
There is also no lack of wider wheel arches, made of black plastic, and a new set of 16-inch 'Delta Force' light alloy wheels, which, as you can see in the images, appear on pavements with off-road style tires.
Among the accessories included in the preparation are the 'Rhino-Rack' roof rack, ROAM Adventure safes with a capacity of 52 liters, an additional KC HiLiTES LED light module also installed in the roof rack and a retractable awning also from Rhino-Rack.
What truly enhances the off-road capabilities of this RAVCross, however, is an AgeMaxxi kit that raises the suspension height and therefore increases ground clearance.
Regarding prices, the bumper costs the equivalent of 8,200 reais (Brazilian currency) at today's exchange rate, the Toyota inscription around 400 reais, the plastic wheel arches another 2,000 reais and the most expensive of all is the ceiling rack, which reaches up to 10,000 reais, approximately, and the auxiliary LED lighting module, which touches 9,000 reais.
Although the Toyota Corolla Cross for the Japanese market has a slightly different front end than ours, we assume that the various Rivai components are compatible, but it will be difficult for Rivai to offer its accessories here.
