ENTOP MADA 9: O PRIMEIRO SUPERESPORTIVO DO AFEGANISTÃO COM MOTOR TOYOTA

Entop Mada 9: the Afghan super sports car with Toyota engine

To think of a super sports car is to imagine a Ferrari or a Lamborghini with a 12-cylinder engine howling through a high-performance exhaust system. However, in Afghanistan they have a somewhat different concept of what a super sports car should be. The Entop Mada 9, which is the first model with these characteristics to be manufactured in the country, is equipped with a 4-cylinder Toyota engine.

Handcrafted by a group of 30 engineers from Entop and the Vocational Technical Institute of Afghanistan over the last five years, the Mada 9, which is the name given to the car, has finally been unveiled, although not many technical details of the vehicle have been revealed.

For now, what we could see of Entop Mada 9 is its design. It looks really aggressive and extreme, with a big front splitter, sharp headlights, a small front grille, sharp wheel arches, an elongated rear section, side air intakes and a very low height. All this on a set of large diameter wheels to complete your style.

The Mada 9's engine, and here comes what is really surprising, is of Toyota origin. We know that many manufacturers install engines from other brands in their cars. However, Entop decided that this engine would be an in-line 4-cylinder block like the one that powers the Toyota Corolla. We don't have many details for now, except that it's mounted at the rear in the middle of the tubular chassis and surrounded by lightweight composite materials.

Neither was revealed the power figure offered by this engine, nor its displacement, times from 0 to 100 km/h or its maximum speed. However, the Afghan manufacturer has revealed some videos and images of the vehicle, where we can hear the sound of its engine as it burns the tires.

There are still a few months to go before we know all the technical details of Afghanistan's first super sports car. Entop's executive director, Mohammed Riza Ahmadi, assured that the car will transmit the value of knowledge to people and improve the country's image in the world. The intention is to sell the car in Afghanistan and in the future to market it internationally.
