Tiguan 2024 spotted testing in Scandinavia

Photo-spies have already managed to capture the brand-new Volkswagen Tiguan during winter testing, but for the first time the car entered the camera lens as it is – without any camouflage. The crossover is being tested in Scandinavia, close to the Arctic Circle.

Given that we are only talking about the 2024 model, it was a very bold decision by Volkswagen to launch a camouflage-free range of cars on the roads. There will certainly be some changes in terms of design, but they are unlikely to be drastic. The new generation crossover has a slightly smaller radiator grille and a narrower central air intake in the front bumper. The headlights go into the sidewalls quite hard. The Tiguan resembles the previous generation Creta, but the headlights may be different on the production model.

At the rear, a red stripe running through the middle of the bumper and a large spoiler draw attention. But the nozzles are a dummy. But all-wheel drive is not a dummy, as evidenced by the 4Motion inscription on the trunk lid.

Aimed at hiding the new decals with snow white, the latest 2024 Tiguan exterior shot is thought-provoking and features the rugged accent that is expected of the 2024 VW model.

They can be seen on the headlights and taillights, on the chrome trim on the grille, on the lower part of the doors and on the C-shaped chrome on the bumper. Even the rear has fake quad tailpipes, which are actually just stickers too.

Despite efforts to hide the changes, Volkswagen has not hidden the fact that the next generation model will have a less boxy shape than the current Tiguan. The impression is that VW will adapt the visual language of the electric ID.4 to its combustion SUV. This new Tiguan seen in the Alps also seems to have grown compared to the previous model.

Finally, this is a very popular model and very well positioned in the world market, the VW Tiguan 2024 can be presented in its segment with great prominence, we will keep our eyes open here.
